The 1600 Club

Reaching a 1600 rating is a great achievement, one that only 1% of all scholastic players achieve. When a player reaches a rating higher than 1600, he or she joins the 1600 Club and receives a special award at the end of the semester. Their name is also engraved into the 1600 plaque, along with the date they achieved the rating. The plaque can be seen on the second floor inside the trophy case next to the podium.
